Frequently asked questions

Where does Curated Spoon deliver?

We deliver throughout San Diego County and Orange County, California. Enter your ZIP code at checkout to confirm your address is in our service area before we prepare your first box.

How does the meal-prep subscription work?

Choose a 10- or 15-meal weekly plan, set your cuisine preferences, and pick a delivery day. Each week our chef team builds a menu matched to your tastes, and you can adjust your selections before the weekly cutoff. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be paused or canceled from your account.

What is the difference between a private dinner and meal prep?

Meal prep is a recurring subscription of ready-to-heat dishes delivered to your door. A private dinner is a single-event, four-course experience prepared and served in your home by a Curated Spoon chef team. Private dinners require a minimum of 8 guests.

Is there a minimum party size for private dinners?

Yes. Private dining experiences require a minimum of 8 guests. If you are planning something smaller or unusual, send us the details through the private dining request form and we will see what may be possible.

Do you charge extra to travel for a private dinner?

San Diego County is included in standard private dining pricing. Orange County private dinners include an additional $300 travel/service fee per dinner. For anything outside San Diego or Orange County, submit a private dining request and we will confirm availability and travel pricing.

Are the menus final?

No. All sample menus on this site are starting points our chef can adjust based on seasonality, your preferences, and any allergies or dietary restrictions. The final menu is confirmed after your booking is accepted.

Can I cancel or change my subscription?

Yes. You can change your plan size, pause deliveries, or cancel entirely from your account. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep any boxes already paid for.

How do allergies and dietary restrictions work?

We collect allergy and dietary information at checkout for private dinners and on your taste profile for subscriptions. Severe allergies are flagged for our kitchen team. Please review our food allergy disclaimer for important details.

When will I be charged?

Subscriptions are charged at the start of each billing cycle (weekly or every four weeks). Private dinners and add-ons are charged once when you complete checkout. All prices are in US dollars and tax is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address.

What do I do if my delivery is missing or damaged?

Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order details and a photo. We will replace or credit the affected items according to our delivery policy.
