Refund & Cancellation Policy

What happens when you skip a week, cancel a plan, or something arrives wrong.

The weekly cut-off

Meal-prep plans are recurring subscriptions. Every change you want to make to an upcoming box — skipping a week, changing plan size, or cancelling — must be made before the weekly cut-off of Thursday at 6:00pm Pacific Time.

After the cut-off, ingredients for that week have been purchased and prep has been scheduled, so that box is final and non-refundable.

Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel at any time from your account, or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not refund a box that is already past the cut-off.

When you cancel, you keep access to any week you have already paid for, and your account and preferences stay available in case you come back.

Changing plans

Moving up (for example 10 meals to 15 meals) takes effect immediately and is billed pro-rata for the current period. Moving down takes effect at the start of your next billing period, so you receive the meals you have already paid for.

Perishable food: refund boundaries

Because our meals are freshly cooked, chilled and perishable, we cannot accept returns and cannot refund food simply because it has been received, opened, or left unrefrigerated.

We will make it right when something is genuinely wrong on our side: a missing or incorrect item, a damaged or leaking container, a box that arrived at an unsafe temperature, or a meal with a quality issue. Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order details and a photo where possible, and we will issue a credit or refund for the affected items.

Private dinners

Private dinners are charged as one-time payments per guest at the time of booking. Because each dinner is menu-planned and shopped specifically for your date, cancellations made 7 or more days before the event are refundable in full, cancellations 3 to 6 days before are refundable at 50%, and cancellations within 48 hours of the event are non-refundable.

Date changes are handled case by case and depend on kitchen availability. Guest counts can be reduced up to 7 days before the dinner.

Add-ons

One-time add-ons, such as the chia seed pudding, follow the same cut-off and perishable-food rules as the box they ship with.

How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Timing after we process a refund depends on your bank or card issuer.

Refund requests are reviewed by our team; we may ask a couple of questions about the order before deciding.

Test mode notice

Checkout on this site currently runs in the payment provider's test environment. No real money is charged while test mode is active.
