Allergy Disclaimer
Please read this before ordering if you or your guests have a food allergy or intolerance.
Our meals are prepared in a kitchen that handles all major allergens. We cannot guarantee that any dish is free from cross-contact with peanuts, tree nuts, milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, soy, wheat, sesame or mustard.
Our kitchen is a shared kitchen
Every Curated Spoon meal is cooked in one kitchen that handles peanuts, tree nuts, milk and dairy, eggs, fish, shellfish, soy, wheat and gluten, sesame and mustard. Equipment, surfaces, oil and utensils are shared between dishes.
For that reason we cannot guarantee that any dish is free from traces of an allergen, even when the allergen is not an ingredient in that dish. We do not describe any meal as allergen-free, and we do not operate a dedicated allergen-free production line.
If you have a severe allergy
If you or a guest has a severe allergy, anaphylaxis risk, or coeliac disease, please do not rely on our menus or labels as a safety guarantee. Talk to us before ordering so we can be honest about whether we can safely cook for you — and in some cases the honest answer will be no.
What we do ask and record
Every private dinner booking includes a required allergen questionnaire, and the answers are passed to the kitchen with your booking. Meal-prep customers can record allergens and dietary preferences in account preferences.
Tell us about changes as soon as they happen. Information received after the weekly Thursday 6:00pm PT cut-off may not reach a box that is already in production.
Ingredients, labels and menu changes
Menus rotate and suppliers change, so recipes and ingredient lists can change between weeks. Always read the label on the pack you received rather than relying on a previous week's menu.
Nutrition figures shown on the site are kitchen-calculated averages per portion and are provided for general guidance, not for medical or clinical use.
Dietary tags
Tags such as gluten-free, dairy-free or high-protein describe the recipe as written. They are not a statement about cross-contact, and they are not a medical claim.
Your responsibility
By ordering, you confirm that you have read this disclaimer and that you accept the cross-contact risk described here for yourself and for anyone you serve our food to. If you are unsure about a dish, ask us before you eat it.
